Ashley is interested in understanding how aging of the vascular system contributes to disease and dysfunction, with a particular interest in brain aging. She earned her BS in Exercise and Sport Science from Oregon State University and her PhD in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder. Ashley performed postdoctoral fellowships at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and the University of Utah. She was then research faculty at the University of Utah before joining the Department of Human Physiology at the University of Oregon in the Fall of 2017.

Ashley also enjoys running, biking, and hiking, and spending time with family.
