Hello! My name is Lazar Isakharov and I am a second-year student at the University of Oregon, Clark Honors College, with a major in Human Physiology, and minors in Chemistry and Ethics. I joined this lab in April of 2023 under the mentorship of post-doctoral fellow, Abby Cullen, because of my interest in cardiovascular physiology and its effects on cerebral biochemistry. I am excited to discover research practices as the foundation of modern medicine and develop a thesis project I am passionate about.

Post-graduation, I plan to continue my journey into medicine, applying my knowledge of intercultural communication and ethical decision making to a clinical setting. In my free time, I like to decompress through dancing, cooking, learning a new hobby, or compulsively reorganizing my entire room.
